"WISH YOU WERE HERE has raised the concept of a tribute band to an art form. Buying a ticket guarantees you're in for something special." - Cleveland Magazine |
Cleveland-based favorite WISH YOU WERE HERE is one of the closest approximations to the legendary Pink Floyd |
Wish You Were Here drummer Peter Telari is continuing to recover at St. Francis Hospital And Heart Center in New York.
Peter and his family, along with the entire WYWH family, want to thank all our friends and fans for the outpouring of love and well-wishes. Peter suffered a serious heart attack during the band’s performance on April 15 at Tilles Center at LIU Post in Long Island, and due to the immediate and resolute efforts of band crew members and helpful responders from the audience and venue, he was resuscitated and taken to one of the best heart hospitals in NY which was nearby.
Peter will soon be transported back to Cleveland to continue his recovery, and a GoFundMe account has been set up by a WYWH family friend to help cover expenses incurred by the family and the ambulatory services to bring him back home. The band will perform in Columbus on May 6 with a substitute drummer and is looking forward to Peter’s future return behind the drum kit. We thank you all again for all the love, support, prayers and positivity during these challenging times.
